Thalapathy Vijay has been creating a lot of excitement since the inaugural state conference of his party TVK on October 27, 2024. During the statewide event, actor-turned-politician Vijay outlined his political agenda with clarity and conviction.
Additionally, the actor also revealed how he decided to enter the political arena of Tamil Nadu when he was at the peak of his career as an actor. The actor said, “I have thrown away the pinnacle of my career, and I have thrown away my huge salary… I have come here to be your Vijay with faith in all of you.” The state conference program was considered a huge success as his followers came from all corners of the state to participate in it.
Moving on, Thalapathy Vijay was last seen playing the lead role in The Greatest of All Time aka The Goat, directed by Venkat Prabhu. In this film starring Vijay in the lead role, he played the role of both father and son.
The action-packed drama tells the story of Gandhi, the leader of an anti-terrorism unit, who travels to Thailand and tragically loses his son in an accident. Fast forward several years, and the son reappears, reunited with his long-lost family. Moving forward, Thalapathy Vijay is all set to appear in his reported last film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, which is being directed by Thunivu director H Vinoth. The film was officially announced in October and stars Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde as the main antagonists. This film will be released on the big screen in October 2025.
