Actor and stand-up comedian Vir Das, who is in New York after hosting the International Emmys, met his friend chef Vikas Khanna. The latter shared a photo of them together at his restaurant, The Bungalow, and also congratulated her, hoping she gets the chance to host the next Oscars.

Khanna shared the photo on Instagram. He wrote, “Vir Das is making everyone proud. He has written a new chapter of glory and the ability to rule the world. Vir Das recently shared his monologue from The International Emmy this year. on x, Das also mentioned that he worked hard on his commencement speech. and “Glad some people liked it”. In the monologue, the 45-year-old actor took Subtle sarcasm on Donald Trump’s presidency, Elon Musk and Hollywood. He also mentioned Will Smith’s infamous Oscar slapping incident. In November 2023, he won an International Emmy.
