Vinath Srinivasan’s Oru Jath Jathkam faced a ban in Gulf countries: Report
Winith Srinivasan’s upcoming film Oru Jathkam, released on 31 January, has gone on a road with reports suggesting a ban in Gulf countries due to references from LGBTQ+ community.

Actor Vinith Srinivasan’s upcoming film Oru Jatti Jathkam, which is scheduled to release on 31 January, hit an important roadblock just before its release. M. The film directed by Mohanan has been allegedly banned in Gulf countries due to the context of the LGBTQ+ community.
According to reports, the film faces a ban in all GCC countries, with Oman the only exception. The blow comes in the same way that the film was ready for her much awaited Big-screen debut after postponing its early release date from August 22, 2024.

Actor Vinith Srinivasan, Director M. Made another cooperation between Mohanan and co-Leid Nikhila Vimal. The film, established in Northern Malabar, tells the story of Jayesh, who faces a series of life -changing challenges after meeting a woman skilled with a woman. Jayesh finds himself spiral in a dark phase of his life. The story then follows her journey of self-khoj and can she overcome her tests and eventually succeed.
The film stars a dress actress, including Babu Antony, PP Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Tarihu Pratap, Sayenora Philip, Amal Thaha, Inda Thampi, and Kayedu Lohar, which in the lead roles, adds deeply to the compelling tale of the story.

Meanwhile, Vinith Srinivasan’s previous direction film Varshangalku Shasham, a period comedy-drama, starring Pranava Mohanlal and Dhyan Sarenivasan, received positive reviews. The actor is also ready to appear with Dileep in the action-thriller Bha. Bha. Ba., Directed by Dhananjay Shankar.
