A few days before its release, the upcoming series of prime videos, Gram Chikitsley, has been impressed by allegations of literary theft. Kolkata -based filmmaker Anindayabikus Dutt has accused actor Vinay Pathak of copying his original script named Quack Shankar.

According to Dutta, he contacted Paik for a major role in Quack Shankar and shared the entire script and project details. While Pathak initially showed interest, his conversation did not move forward. However, two years later, Dutta was shocked to see a trailer for the village chikitsley, in the lead with Vinay Pathak, who says that his story is.

He even shared screenshots of the previous conversation with the reader to support his claims. Dutta said that his project is still in pre-production and he has already spent a lot of time and money in it.
