Vikrant Massey’s wife could not recognize him in the Sector 36 poster: ‘Who is it?’
Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal play the lead roles in Netflix’s upcoming film Sector 36, which is possibly inspired by the 2006 Nithari massacre. Vikrant’s transformation for the film surprised his wife.

A few days ago, when the first poster of the film was released, many were surprised by Vikrant’s look, where he was seen with a moustache and a killer look. In a conversation with the media, the actor confessed that even his wife could not recognize him in the poster.
He said that as an actor, he always tries to adopt not just new looks but also different personalities. “Many people have pointed out how I look unrecognisable in this character. sector 36 poster. Interestingly, when I shared it on social media, I asked my wife about it. She said, ‘That’s nice, who is it? Vikrant jokingly said, “This is really great. Who is this?” Vikrant is married to actress Sheetal Thakur. They have recently been blessed with a son.

Thanking his director for conceptualising the character, he revealed that apart from the moustache, he also wore lenses for the role. The director revealed that his aim was to let him blend in with the crowd. Thus, he gave him a normal look, which is common among men, especially in tier-2 cities.
IndiaToday.in asked Vikrant if he recognised the man he saw in the mirror and how he got away from the character.
12th fail The actor revealed that he is quite satisfied with his look. Referring to his wife, he smiled and said, “I know people will think I am exaggerating, but she was really shocked. For 10 minutes, she kept zooming in on the photo to see if it was really me. I think many people had the same reaction, and I am glad we achieved it.”
He said, “As far as the character is concerned, we are very different from each other, but I have seen the world, travelled a bit and am not unfamiliar with such people. There are many people around us who have a similar mindset. But yes, there were days when I struggled to play this character. There were nights when I couldn’t sleep. However, over the years, I have learnt how to leave my character on the set. It shakes you, but you distance yourself from it.”
