Vikrant Massey starrer The Sabarmati Report was released in theaters earlier this year on November 15, 2024. The film which has already received appreciation from PM Narendra Modi will be seen today on 2nd December 2024 at Balayogi Auditorium in Delhi.
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will watch Vikrant Massey’s film The Sabarmati Report at 4 pm today. It is learned that the Honorable PM will go to Balayogi Auditorium in Parliament Library Building, Delhi to watch the film. ,
It is important to mention here that just a few weeks ago on November 17, Modi had met his ex and praised the trailer of the film. He reacted to the trailer shared by a user and expressed happiness over the truth being revealed through the cinematic route.
He wrote, “Rightly said. It is good that this truth is coming out and that too in a way that common people can see it. A false narrative can only be sustained for a limited period of time. After all, the facts will always come out!”

After this came another special slogan of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He met the entire star cast of the film and recalling his experience, he said, “Met the team of Sabarmati Report and congratulated them for their courage in stating the truth. This film exposes the lies and misleading facts and brings out the truth which was suppressed for a long time to serve political interests. #SabarmatiReport.”

Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini were also among those who praised the film.
Apart from Vikrant Massey, Sabarmati Report also stars Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan, Sabarmati Report is based on the real events surrounding the burning of S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express in Godhra in February. 27, 2002.
The film tells the story of the tragic incident when at least 59 Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya were burnt to death, which later sparked riots in the state.
