Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu are reuniting after three years for the sequel of their 2021 release Haseen Dillruba. The second part of the film is titled, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, which also stars Sunny Kaushal. The team is currently busy promoting their film. Recently, the 12th Fail actor shared a cute gesture of the Khel Khel Mein actress for her son Vardaan.
Vikrant Massey takes cue from Taapsee Pannu for his and Sheetal Thakur’s son Vardaan
After a long period of dating, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur got married in 2021. Earlier this year in February, the couple welcomed their first child, whom they named Vardaan. In a recent interview with News 18 Showsha, Vikrant praised Taapsee Pannu.
He said she was one of the first colleagues and friends to meet his son and give him their blessing. Massey called her move “really special”. “It was a Sunday and she drove up to my house. It was really amazing,” the actor said.
Vikrant praised Taapsee a lot and joked that there is no one on earth who can trouble Taapsee. He further added, “Jokes apart, she is really sweet and kind.”
Taapsee Pannu says Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail success felt ‘personal’
Meanwhile, in a conversation with Fever FM, Taapsee was asked if she has seen Vikrant Massey’s much-loved film 12th Fail. To this, Taapsee promptly said, “Of course” and revealed that she has never missed his movies.
The actress revealed that she was busy shooting for her film Khel Khel Mein in London, due to which she watched the film much after its release. She recalled that when she returned to the country, she got to hear good things about the film’s collection. The actress then revealed that she had sent a message to Vikrant telling him that his success is “personal” to her.
“Because I’ve seen him, how consistently well he’s performed. But the numbers validation, I don’t know; it feels like a personal celebration,” he explained.

Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill starrer Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba is directed by Jayapradha Desai. Written by Kanika Dhillon and bankrolled by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films, the film will stream on Netflix from August 9.
