Vikrant Massey on his tough TV days: Had to shoot for 110 hours straight
Vikrant Massey talks about the relentless schedule of his early days as a television actor. He recalled 110 hours non-stop at that time.

Actor Vikrant Massey, who turns 39 on April 3, 2026, recalled the tough working conditions he experienced during his early days in television. He admitted that there was a time when he used to shoot continuously for 110 hours without stopping.
In an earlier interview on the YouTube Podcast Unfiltered by SamdishMassey opened up about the tough schedule she faced while working on popular daily soaps like Balika Vadhu, Dharam VeerAnd Baba, find such a groom.

He said, “Earlier, actors used to shoot for 18-20 hours. There came a time when I had to shoot continuously for 110 hours without stopping.”
Vikrant also revealed how the script was often revised to maximize his screen presence during the busy production cycle.
The actor further added, “They had no option but to use me as a filler. The day shift was turning into a night shift. Timing had no meaning. What’s interesting is that when they finally packed up, it wasn’t even for me. An actor who came to the set at 10 in the morning got upset and walked out by evening.”

Vikrant said that despite the money he earned as a young actor, he chose to leave the small screen during the most successful phase of his TV career.
The actor further added, “I earned a lot on TV. I bought my first house at the age of 24. But all that regressive stuff was happening simultaneously on TV, and I felt like coming out of this world and trying my luck in cinema.”
He admitted that as his bank balance increased, his mental peace was affected. This clarity came only after he successfully took care of his parents and dealt with his various financial obligations.
