Actor Vijay Verma is fully prepared for his upcoming crime thriller series Matka King. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, the series is making waves even before its release. Vijay recently took on social media and shared that he had wrapped the shooting of the film. He also dropped a picture of the unique cake in which we pay attention.
Today (24 April), taking for Instagram stories, Vijay Verma shared a glimpse of the rap-up celebration of Matka King. He dropped a picture of a unique cake, which featured a matka with a red cloth on him and the cake looks absolutely real. Matka King is also written on the cake. With the picture, he wrote, “Matka King wrapped!” His story has increased fans for his upcoming series.
Meanwhile, the upcoming web series is directed by Nagraj Manjule, director of Sairat and Fandry. This matka will show the dramatic and dangerous world of gambling. The Matka King revolves on the busy streets of Mumbai in the 1960s. A smart cotton trader dare to write the rules again. Their brain yield, a new number of games, ignite a forest fire across the city, once reserved for the elite once pulls people everyday in the world.
This gritty chain dives in the shade of a city in infection, where fate is made overnight, loyalty is tested, and the bet may not be high. Apart from Vijay, it also includes Critica Kamra, Sai Tamhakar, Gulshan Grover and Siddharth Jadhav. It is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Manjule, with Gargi Kulkarni, Ashish Aryan and Ashwini Sidwani under the banner of Roy Kapur Films and will be released on Amazon Prime Video.
Matka King’s official Sinopsis states, “Matka King is a fictional story in Mumbai in the 1960s, where an entrepreneur cotton trader who craves validity and respect starts a new gambling game called Mataka.”
