Vijay Sethupati, Nitya Menen’s Thalaivan Thalavi to release in July
Vijay Sethupati and Nithya Menon renovated for the Tamil film ‘Thalaivan Thalaivi’ set for release on 25 July. Directed by Pandiraj, the film promises a vibrant mixture of comedy, action and character-powered story focused around a bizarre tiffin center.

Vijay Sethupati and Nithya Menon are ready to share screen space again in the upcoming Tamil film, ‘Thalivan Thalivi’. Directed by Pandiraj, the fame of ‘Ethnarkkum Thunindevan’, the film has been slated for a dramatic release on 25 July. The manufacturers recently unveiled a teaser to present the audience for the vibrant world of Hotel Raghavarthini, where most of the films appear.
In the teaser, Sethupathi plays the role of Akaseveon and plays Nitya Menon Pararasi, which seems to run a tiffin center. The promo gives a quick glimpse in the eccentric attraction of the restaurant, ending with the character of Sethupathi, “If you come to the Raghavarthini Tiffin Center, you can eat your heart content. Will you come?”, Because he takes a weapon to reveal the release date. The tone of the teaser indicates on a light-hearted, slic-off-life entertainer, which spirals in chaos, with the character-operated story.

The ‘Thablen Thalivi’ also stars Yogi Babu, Kemban Vinod Jose, Saravanan, RK Suresh, Kali Venkat, Aruldos, Roshni Hariprian, Muthu Kumar, Deepa and Sendran. The film has been banquerrolled under the Satya Jyoti Films banner by Saathil Thyogarajan and Arjun Thiaganjan. Music has been composed by Santosh Narayanan with cinematography by M Sukumar and editing by Pradeep E Ragav.

It marks second cooperation between Sethupathi and Menen after 2022 Malayalam film ’19 (1) (A)’. Sethupathi, who was last seen in ‘Ace’, will soon appear in Mascine’s upcoming thriller ‘train’. He has also signed for a high-octane project directed by Puri Jagannadh, which is supported by co-interacted and Puri connects to Tabu.
Director Pandiraj, who is known for his grounded and family-centered narratives, returns to the big screen starring Suria after the 2022 film ‘Itharkkum Thunindevan’. With ‘Thalivan Thalavi’, he seems to return to his comic roots, a strong character with bizarre settings to give a complete entertainer.
