Actor Vijay Deverakonda’s uncle shared pictures from the actor’s post-wedding hometown tour, revealing a side of the star that fans rarely get to see.
Actress Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding attracted widespread attention for their grand celebrations in Udaipur. However, soon after the ceremony, Vijay’s maternal uncle, Yash Rangineni, shared glimpses which highlighted a quiet moment from the ceremony.
Rangineni, posting pictures on social media, described the actor as someone who is down to earth despite his public image. “The world sees glamour. I see humility, the side I value most,” she wrote while sharing pictures of Vijay visiting his hometown and paying homage at his maternal grandparents’ graves.

What did Vijay Deverakonda do after his marriage?
After their wedding on February 26, the couple traveled to Thummanpeta, Vijay’s hometown in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana.
During the journey, the newlyweds performed Satyanarayana Vratam at their home as part of the post-wedding rituals. He also organized lunch for the villagers who had gathered to see him.
Pictures shared online showed Vijay bowing his head at the graves of his late grandparents. He was also accompanied by Rashmika, her brother Anand Deverakonda and their mother Madhavi.
How did Vijay and Rashmika celebrate their wedding?
The couple got married in a private ceremony in Udaipur after getting engaged in Hyderabad last October. Their marriage was confirmed through an announcement just days before the event, describing it as the marriage of “Virosh”, a nickname used by fans.
The celebrations included many pre-wedding events such as pool party, games, haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony. Photos and videos of the celebration later circulated widely on social media.
After the wedding, Vijay and Rashmika distributed sweets to the paparazzi and media personnel present at the venue. He also announced plans to send food trucks to different cities to distribute sweets and organize Annadanam as part of the celebrations.
What happened after the hometown visit?
After the trip to Thummanpeta, the couple returned to Hyderabad, where they hosted a reception for friends and colleagues from the film industry on 4 March.
The wedding also received congratulatory messages from several public figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
