Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna often made headlines due to dating rumors. However, in a recent conversation, the actor shared that he was not looking for a “life partner” at the moment.
In an interview with Filmfare, Vijay was asked about the qualities he wants in a wife. He replied, “Currently not looking for a life partner.”
When asked if Rashmika Mandanna Bill fits, she replied, “Any good woman with good heart fits the bill.”
As Vijay Devarakonda continued the conversation, he was asked that he often appears on screen with Rashmika Mandanna and how his chemistry has developed. In response, the actor said that he has not really supported much yet.
She said that she should do more films with her, calls Rashmika a talented actress and a beautiful woman. He said that chemistry is not something about which he is particularly concerned.
Vijay Devarakonda’s comments on collaborating with Rashmika Mandanna came amid rumors of reunion of on-screen. According to Buzz, actors are expected to temporarily pair for the title of VD14, although an official confirmation is still waiting.
On the work front, Vijay is ready to appear in the lead role in the Kingdom, a spy thriller directed by Jersey Fame Govatam Tinnuri. The film is the first installment of a planned duology.
The upcoming film was initially slate for a dramatic release on May 30, 2025, but due to recent India-Pakistan tension, manufacturers postponed it on 4 July 2025.
The film features Bhagishree Bores with Satyadeva in a supporting role. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichender, and has already released the first single, Hridayam Lopala.
