The team of ‘The Raja Saab’ launched their first single ‘Rebel Saab’ at a fan event in Hyderabad, marking Prabhas’ return to the dance floor and a nostalgic treat for the fans. Composer Thaman S described the track as a tribute to Prabhas and his screen presence.
The first single from Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’, titled ‘Rebel Saab’, was released on Sunday, garnering significant attention from fans and marking the actor’s return to high-energy performances. The launch of the song was celebrated at Vimal Theatre, Hyderabad, where fans gathered with enthusiasm and festive spirit.
At the event, fans danced, cheered, and recreated the choreography of the song, creating an extremely charming atmosphere. Scenes from ‘Rebel Saab’ were shown on the big screens, prompting the crowd to wave flags and chant slogans for Prabhas, creating excitement both inside and outside the venue.
Director Maruthi, along with producer TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, Ishaan Saxena and the film’s director of photography attended the event, and highlighted the importance of a single release for the film.
The track references Prabhas’ past roles, bringing a nostalgic touch for longtime fans. Thaman S’s music has strong beats and is paired with a vibrant visual style that matches the tone of ‘The Raja Saab’.

Composer Thaman S describes the process of creating the single, saying, “‘Rebel Saab’ is a tribute to Prabhas garu – the aura, the swag and the unique power that he brings to the screen. Right from the start, it felt like a responsibility to create a track worthy of his work. We knew it had to be the kind of song that becomes a legacy – the cementing material – an anthem for every Rebel fan. While creating the soundscape, I wanted it to be majestic. ‘Reflect the World’ still has a massive pulse and nostalgia that fans instantly connect with. It has the signature elements of my music and the larger-than-life layers that elevate it to what it needed to be.”
The release was designed for mass appeal, rekindling the nostalgia associated with Prabhas’s on-screen persona. The event saw widespread participation, indicating anticipation for the film.
‘The Raja Saab’ is directed and written by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The film stars Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani.
‘The Raja Saab’ will release on January 9 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, reaching audiences across India.
