The Israeli military said on Sunday it “destroyed” several underground tunnels used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon, including one that was reportedly located beneath a cemetery.
The kilometer long tunnel had command and control rooms, bedrooms and weapons stores. In a post on Twitter, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shared a video showing dozens of weapons and other military equipment placed in the tunnel.
“Hezbollah does not value human life, living or dead,” the IDF said.

The tunnel was reportedly sealed by pouring 4,500 cubic meters of concrete.
Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been fighting along the Lebanese border since the war in Gaza broke out after Hamas attacked Israeli cities on October 7 last year.
Since launching a cross-border ground offensive into Lebanon in September, the Israeli military says it has found several tunnel shafts, one of which it said was about 25 meters long and crossed into Israel Was.

Dozens killed in Israeli air strikes in Lebanon, Gaza

Israel also attacked a Hezbollah apartment in the Syrian capital, Damascus, killing nine people, including a Hezbollah commander.
