Oscar award-winning composer AR Rahman gifted a special song to Team India as they lifted the T20 World Cup trophy in a thrilling encounter against South Africa. The song ‘Team India Hain Hum’ from ‘Maidaan’ is a motivational song composed, performed, produced and arranged by AR Rahman. On June 29, Team India won the World Cup in the T20 format under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
On June 30, AR Rahman shared the YouTube link of the music video ‘Team India Hain Hum’. He wrote, “Celebrating India’s #T20IWorldCup win. Enjoy our performance of the #TeamIndia song.”

A.R. Rahman has sung this song dedicated to the Indian team after their historic victory in the World Cup. In the video, he can be seen singing the song ‘Team India Hai Hum’ from Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Maidaan’. This film is based on the life of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
