Director Raaj Shaandilyaa’s slapstick comedy Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video struggled to maintain momentum at the box office after a good start. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Trupti Dimri saw a marginal growth of less than 30 per cent in its collections on the second day. The film earned Rs 6.75 crore on the second day in India and now due to Dussehra holidays, its business is expected to increase on the weekend.

Vicky Vidya’s video earned Rs 5.25 crore on the first day It left behind Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which was released on the same day. However, this gap narrowed on Saturday as Vicky Vidya’s Woh Wala video earned Rs 6.75 crore, while Jigra’s collection increased to Rs 6.50 crore, reports Sacknilk.
The total earning of the film starring Trupti and Rajkumar Rao is Rs 12 crore.
Both Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh video have three weeks to do well at the box office. To be successful during this period, both films will have to generate more positive buzz on social media and among audiences.
