Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, the comedy drama had recorded an average pre-sale of 22,000 across the top three national chains – PVR Inox and Cinepolis. However, the film managed to register good spot bookings, resulting in an expected opening at the box office. According to estimates, Vicky Vidya’s Woh video has collected a nett of Rs 5.25 crore on its opening day in India.
If the film manages to see a significant surge due to the Dussehra holiday tomorrow and then on Sunday, it could end its first weekend in the range of Rs 18 crore to Rs 22 crore, which is good enough for a Rajkummar Rao film but not enough.
