Vicky Kaushal’s pride is now tax-free in Madhya Pradesh
Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna-Starr Chhava have been made tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the news on his official X page.

A drama on the life of Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna’s recently released film, Chhawa, the Life of Legend Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the news at an event and shared the video on his official X page. Laxman is successfully running in theaters directed by Utekar.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s ex post is lax translated into Hindi, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, I announce the tax-free release of a Hindi film, ‘Chhava’ based on my son Sambhaji Maharaj.”

Earlier, Maharastra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke about the film’s performance and accepted positive reactions from the public. He also reacted to the appeal to make film tax-free across India.
Responding to loud appeals for the tax-free situation of the film, Fadnavis said, “I am happy that a very good film has been made on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. While I have not yet seen it, I have not yet seen it, I I have heard from people that this film is made without distorting history.
Moving forward, he said that the entertainment tax for films was removed in Maharashtra in 2017. He said, “We will see what we can do to promote this film and make it available to more and more people.”

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) contacted Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the tax-free position of the film.
“The Hindi film Chhava depicts the incredible story of the sacrifice, bravery, selflessness and a sense of duty in the Hindi film Chhava. All age groups are appreciated in the film, and the youth are greatly influenced by the story shown in the film, ”Favis said in a statement.
The Chhawa, directed by Laxman Utekar, features the lead roles in Vicky Kaushal, Rashamika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna. The film also stars Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh and Ashutosh Rana, including a dress. The film is a conversion of the Marathi novel of the same name by Shivaji Sawant.
Chha released in theaters on 14 February.
