Vicky Kaushal’s Chhawa is set for record-breaking opening in Hindi cinema

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starring Chhawa, are on track for the biggest early day for a historical film in Hindi cinema. With more than 500,000 tickets sold in advance booking, the film is expected to have a large -scale box office impact when released tomorrow.
Under the Madock Films, Chhawa told the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman YouTekar. The film has created a strong expectation since its trailer and AR Rahman’s Soundtrack was released.
The exhibitors are also looking at high demand. Gautam Dutta, CEO of PVR Inox Limited, said, “We have already crossed 300,000 pre-booking and estimates a 20–25% high-occupant rate in Valentine’s weekend. The enthusiasm is immense, and we are adding more screening to meet the demand. ,
