Vettaiyan director: Big B is a first bench student, Rajinikanth is a backbencher
Vettaiyaan director TJ Gnanavel said that Amitabh Bachchan comes to the set with full preparation, while Rajinikanth is a spontaneous actor. This film will be released in theaters on October 10.
Vettaiyaan director TJ Gnanavel in a recent interview revealed how veteran Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth approach the work. He said that Big B is a first bencher who comes prepared for shooting, while Rajinikanth is a backbencher who is spontaneous. Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan reunited after 33 years for Vettaiyaan. They starred together in the Hindi film Hum.
In a promotional interview, director TJ Gnanavel said, “Bachchan sir is a first bench student, Rajinikanth sir is a last bench student. Bachchan sir will make us feel tense on the first day. He will call me, make me sit and study.” Scene for the next day. He would ask me what he should do for the next day’s shoot. The Jai Bhim director also recalled that Rajinikanth had requested him to be the first to be called on the sets whenever Amitabh Bachchan had a scene. “He always asked us to finish Amitabh Bachchan sir’s scenes and not make him wait. Big B sir had health issues at that time. One day, it rained heavily and we had to make reshuffles. So, we had There was no option. Rajni sir said that he wanted Big B to finish his work first. He started the work at 10 in the morning and finished the shooting by 11 pm.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyaan is an action drama starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Abhirami. This film is the Tamil debut film of Amitabh Bachchan.
