Dhanush was spotted at the Rohini silver screen in Chennai to watch Vettaiyaan.

Lyca Productions shared a post urging fans to watch Vettaiyaan ‘only’ in theatres.

Dhanush posted a tweet cheering Rajinikanth on the release day of Vettaiyan. He wrote, “#Vettaiyaan Day! #Superstar..Thalaivar Dharisanam (sic).”

One fan was disappointed with Vettaiyan’s performance in the second half. He wrote, “Don’t worry #jailer records are safe, there was no #Shivanna in #Vettaiyaan to save the second half.”

As Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Vettaiyaan releases in theaters today, fans are celebrating by dancing and bursting crackers in theatres.
