Vijay Devarakonda’s much awaited film, titled, is titled VD12, is set to release its teaser on February 12, 2025. Now, it seems that Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor can provide voice-over story for the Hindi version of the teaser.
According to Hindustan Times, a source close to Vikas has specified that Ranbir Kapoor has recently recorded a voice-over statement for the teaser of the film in Mumbai, which is an exciting moment for fans, even if it is confirmed To be done
In addition, the report also claimed that Vijay will be included in the film as an intensive character as Arjun Reddy.
Additionally, another report by Akashwani has speculated that actors in Telugu and Tamil versions of the film’s teaser can provide voice-over stories in Junior NTR and Suria respectively. However, it is yet to be confirmed by manufacturers.
Regarding the film, VD12, starring Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role, is said to be an intensive detective action thriller. Vijay is expected to portray a police officer who takes a rugged look with short hair and beard.
The film was initially declared for a dramatic release on March 28, 2025, but is rumored to be postponed at a later date. Directed by Jersey fame Govatam Tinnuri, the film is soon set to unveil its teaser, as well as its official title.
Talking about Vijay’s filmography, he was last seen in the 2024 film The Family Star, where he played the lead role. The romantic action drama, directed by Parashuram, focuses on the life of Govardhan, a person of a stingy family who attempts to balance the life of his middle class. However, everything changes when he meets and falls in love with Indu. In the film, Mrinal Thakur was shown as female head.
Family star received negative reviews from critics and weakened at the box office. Later, Vijay also created a cameo appearance in Prabhas-Abhinit Kalki 2898 AD.
