Tamil language film Varunan hit a big screen on March 14, 2025. A month after its release, the film is soon set to debut on an OTT platform.

Varunan starring Dushyanta Jayaprakash and Gabriela Charlon has prepared the stream on the OTT platform AHA video since May 1, 2025. The same official announcement was made by streaming space on its social media handle.

Varunan’s official trailer and plot

The film Varunan tells the story of rival distribution groups who landed in violence and atrocities during a global water crisis. As competitive water vendors turn their business into a weapon of power, harassing their struggle, pushing workers into a dynasty in cruelty.

As the struggle intensifies, workers turn into ruthless promoters, causing a disastrous clash that puts the cloth of society in danger.

Varunan’s cast and crew

Varunan has a big dress artist, including Radha Ravi, Dushyant Jayaprakash, Gabriela Charlton, Satyaraj, Charan Raj, Shankarnag Vijayan, Haripiria Issai, Maheshwari Chanakyan, Jeeva Ravi, Arjunna Karthiwasan, Hyde Kareti and many more.

The film written and directed by Jayvelmurugun is produced by Karthik Sridran. It has music compositions by Bobo Shashi, in which S. Shriram Santosh and U. Muthayan is cinematography and editing.

Regarding Radha Ravi’s recent filmography, the actor was last seen in Aghthia: Angels vs. Devil, a Tamil-language historical horror thriller who is written and directed by Pa Vijay.

The film starred Jiva in dual roles, with Arjun Sarja and Rashi Khanna co-Leads. It also featured a contingent of artists including Edward Sonnabolic, Matilda, Radin Kingsley, Shah Ra, Senthil, Radha Ravi, Rohini, Charle and many more.
