Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi are busy with their parenting duties, taking care of their newborn son Vaayu Tej Konidela. The trio was recently seen together at a wedding ceremony in Dehradun, where they made a rare public appearance.

In the video shared by Kamlesh Nand, Varun Tej Konidela and his wife Lavanya Tripathi are seen with their son Vayuv Tej Konidela. The family made a rare appearance together at a wedding in Dehradun.
Varun was seen wearing a cream colored sherwani, sporting a bushy beard and dark sunglasses, holding his son in his lap. Lavanya, who joined them, was wearing a yellow saree and had a rose in her hair.

Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi tied the knot in 2024 in a grand wedding ceremony in the presence of family and close friends as they started a new chapter in their lives.
The couple welcomed their first child on September 10, 2025. The news of their baby’s arrival was officially confirmed by them through a social media post.

Varun Tej Konidela had earlier played the lead role in the film Matka. Directed by Karuna Kumar, the period action drama is set in Visakhapatnam between 1934 and 1988 and is based on real-life events.
The film is based on the life of a young man named Vasu, who is lured into the matka gambling business and gets entangled in a complex world of crime, deceit and betrayal. Vasu eventually becomes a gangster but is betrayed by his close associates. How he regains his lost position and kills his enemies forms the crux of the story.
Apart from Varun, Meenakshi Choudhary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Saloni Aswani and Jisshu Sengupta also play important roles in the film. The film was panned by critics and was a box office failure.
Looking ahead, Varun will next be seen in the lead role in the Korean Kanakaraju. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the cross-cultural Indo-Korean horror comedy is scheduled to release this summer. Apart from Varun, Ritika Nayak and Satya are in lead roles in the film.
Lavanya Tripathi, on the other hand, will next be seen in the lead role in Sathi Leelavati, a romantic comedy that also stars Dev Mohan in the co-lead role.
