Telugu cinema celebrity couple Varun Tej Kondela and Lavanya Tripathi recently welcomed their child in Hyderabad on 10 September 2025. Now, the actors have officially declared their child’s name as Veru Tej Kondela.

Varun Teja Kondella and Lavanya Tripathi announced their child’s boy’s name through social media posts. As he introduced his son, he explained that the name he chose is a symbol of invincible force, devotion, courage and spiritual glow.
Sharing the life update on his handle, Varun said, “Our greatest blessings are now a name,” while in ethnic organizations, he probably presented his wife and newborn son as well as his wife and newborn son along with his wife and newborn son.

Varun Tej and Lavanya announced the birth of their son on Instagram. The couple was depicted in the Black-And-White Photo, all smile because they shared joyful news with the world. After the announcement, many celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Upasana, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Naga Chaitanya, Kajal Aggarwal and many others congratulated the new parents.
The celebrity couple tied the wedding knot back in November 2023. Nearly two years after their marriage, the actor is a proud parents.
Varun Tej’s upcoming film
On the professional front, Varun Tej Kondela last acted in the action thriller Matka. Written and directed by Karuna Kumar, the film appears on the basis of real -life events in Visakhapatnam between 1634 and 1888.
The film describes the story of Vasu, a person who attracts Mataka gambling business and comes into a complex world of crime. Despite his rise in life, he is later crossed by his close personnel, the rest of the film focuses on how he manages to overcome them.
Looking forward, Varun Tej Kondella is the next set to appear in the Indo-Korean horror comedy, which is temporarily given the title VT15. Directed by Merlpka Gandhi, the upcoming film stated Mirai fame Ritika Nayak as a female lead, in which Thaman has composed the music track and background score.
