The popular Telugu celebrity couple tied the knot after 2 years of marriage in November 2023. After 2 years of their marriage, the actor is now expecting his first child, marking a joyful addition to the Kondeli family.

On the professional side, Varun Tej Kondela was last seen in the period action thriller Matka. The film, written and directed by Karuna Kumar, was set in Visakhapatnam based on real -life events between 1934 and 1988.
The story examines Vasu’s life, a person who was drawn into a matka gambling business, who gets entangled in the world of crime. Despite his rise, betrayal by his close colleagues reverse his life, and the rest of the film focuses on how he manages to remove these challenges.
Along with Varun Tej, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Saloni Aswani and a contingent of actors of actors in lead roles. The film met with negative reviews on release and weakened at the box office.
The actor has the next set to appear in the title title called VT15 directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The upcoming project is an Indo-Korean horror comedy venture with Ritika Nayak’s female lead.
