Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has revealed his excitement about his role in the upcoming film ‘Border 2’. He considers the opportunity as a turning point in his acting career.
Actor Varun Dhawan has expressed his happiness about being a part of ‘Border 2’. He called it a special moment in his career.
In a long note posted by the actor on X, Varun wrote, “#Border2 I was just a 4th grade kid when I went to Chandan cinema and watched Border. And it made such a huge impact. I still remember the feeling of national pride that we all felt in the hall when we watched JP sir’s Border.”
The ‘Bhediya’ actor said, “Playing a role in ‘Border 2’ produced by JP sir and Bhushan Kumar is a very special moment in my career. And I have got the opportunity to work with Sunny paaji, which makes it even more special. I am looking forward to bringing the story of a brave soldier to the screen as India’s biggest war film. I am waiting for your best wishes. Jai Hind.”
‘Border 2’ will be directed by Anurag Singh, who has previously made films like ‘Kesari’, ‘Punjab 1984’, ‘Jatt and Juliet’ and ‘Dil Bole Hadippa!’ The film was announced on June 13, 2024. ‘Border’ completes 27 yearsIt has been declared as “India’s biggest war film” by the makers.
Meanwhile, Varun recently appeared in a cameo in ‘Stree 2’. The actor has ‘Bhediya 2’, ‘Baby John’, ‘Citadel Honey Bunny’ and an untitled film directed by his father David Dhawan in the pipeline.
