Val Kilmer died at the age of 65 after battling pneumonia last week. After the actor’s death, Saturday Knight Live paid a heartfelt tribute by presenting a special card to Batman Forever Star. Kilmer stepped on SNL stage in 2000 as a host, where he demonstrated his popular top gun character, Parody’s Parody. The veteran star was also included by the music guest, U2.
The film star was first detected throat cancer and lost his voice permanently after surgery. Kilmer’s last onscreen appearance Top Gun: In Maverick, Tom ‘Iceman’ was in the form of Kazanski, which was released in 2022.
The father of two was one of the most versatile actors of his time, depicting a series of characters among many other people among many other characters in films such as Tombstone, Batman Forever, Kiss Kis Bang Bang, Willow, and Thunderhart.
After the unfortunate news announced by his daughter, Mercedes Kilmar, she is earning tribute to the actor. Tom Cruz, who acted with Late Star in the film Top Gun and The Sequel, also paid tribute to the comedian-actress.
Cruz said in cinema, “I want to respect a dear friend, Val Kilmer. I can’t really tell you how much I praise his work, how much I thought about him as a human, and when he joined the top gun and returned to the top gun, I was honored how much I was honored.”
Meanwhile, Kilmer’s son and daughter issued a statement after the death of his father. He claimed that he wanted time to mourn privately, but also feel overwhelmed by the actor’s career.
