In Las Vegas in Cinema 2025, actor Glenn Powell, Josh Brolin, Coleman Domingo and director Edgar Right gathered to discuss his upcoming film, The Running Man. During a conversation with ET, he took a moment to honor his late colleague, Val Kilmer, who died on 1 April 2025 at the age of 65 due to pneumonia.
Glenn Powell, Top Gun: Known for his role in Mavric, reminiscent of working with Kilmer. He described the experience as real, especially the members of the original artists on the set.
“It was a very real day when we found near all origins on the set, and it was a very large part,” Powell said. “This was really good to be on that set as a young actor already, but then reminiscent of the heritage you stepped.”
Powell said that the top gun was an important part of Kilmer’s career, inspiring stardom. He recalled Kilmar and said, “He would really be remembered. He was a really cute man.”
Josh Brolin shared his personal relationship with Kilmer, talking about his close friendship over the years. He said, “I knew him for a lot of, very long. We were very close, and it is difficult because I have seen him in the last ten years that he has a really good attitude around issues. But we will miss him.”
The panel also said in its roles in the upcoming film The Running Man, which was slate to release on November 7, 2025. Glenn Powell, Josh Brolin, and Coleman Domingo are excited about bringing new perspectives to their characters in this re -computable adaptation of the 1987 action thriller.
Val Kilmer’s contribution to cinema is widely recognized, which has prestigious roles in films like Top Gun, Batman Forever and The Door. His dedication to his crafts and memorable demonstrations has made an indelible mark on the industry.
