Dulquer Salmaan was last seen playing the lead role in the blockbuster film Lucky Bhaskar directed by Venky Atluri. Now, the actor is once again returning to the big screen with his iconic film Ustad Hotel.
The 2012 film, starring DQ in the lead role, is set to be re-released in PVR Inox theaters on January 3, 2025. The film directed by Anwar Rasheed was officially announced by the official page to hit the big screens once again. Of PVR Theatres.

For those unaware, Ustad Hotel is a Malayalam comedy-drama film starring Dulquer SalmaanThilakan, and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. The film focuses on a young man named Faizi, who studies to become a chef in Switzerland after lying to his father.
When the truth comes out, his father confiscates his passport and prevents him from getting a job as a chef in Britain. In retaliation, Faizi leaves his home and starts living with his grandfather, a famous chef and hotel owner.
The new setting at the hotel and her job give her a new outlook on life, helping her find a new way to survive and giving a deeper meaning to her previously disoriented life. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Siddique, Asim Jamal, Mamukkoya, Kunchan, Jayaprakash, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Praveena and many others in lead roles.
Directed by Anwar Rashid, the film was written by writer-director Anjali Menon and is considered one of the most prominent films in the New-Gen Cinema movement of Malayalam films. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as Janatha Hotel and was also remade in Kannada as Goudru Hotel in 2017 starring Rachan Chandra, Vedhika and Prakash Raj.
Moving on, Dulquer Salmaan is currently shooting for his next film named kanthaThe Tamil film is said to be a period venture, starring Bhagyashree Borse in the lead role. The actor will also be seen in the upcoming film Akasham Lo Oka Tara.
