Indians are known across the world for their hospitality. From greeting guests with folded hands to serving delicious food, we welcome everyone into our homes with open arms. Reflecting this, an American content creator recently shared his touching and humorous experience with Indian hospitality. In a video posted on Instagram, he explains what happens when he visits someone’s home in India unexpectedly. The content creator expresses his genuine appreciation for the warm welcome he receives but mentions a “problem” he often faces with his hosts. “I can arrive at an Indian’s home at 4 pm unannounced and they will still feed me a lot of food,” he says. He further adds that if he did the same in the US, he would be lucky to get a glass of water.

The content creator then jokingly complains that his “only problem” with Indian hospitality is that “they give me too much food”. He adds, “I try to be polite and indirect in telling them that I’m full but they still give me too much food and I feel like it would be rude if I stopped eating.” In his caption, the content creator asks, “How can I go to an Indian’s house without feeding them too much? I love hospitality but sometimes it’s too much!”
