Earlier in the day, Hina Khan also showed sympathy for Thakur’s position. Khan commented, “Knowledge is the fruit of the tree of knowledge, lies in experiences. The development of our social skills, communication and understanding comes only with time. We all make mistakes, especially when we are small.”

“As a teenager I was told many foolish things at the age of 19. I did not always understand the weight of my voice or in how many words, even in the gesture, there could be hurt in the gesture. But it did it and I am deeply sorry for it. My intention was never for body shrine,” Thakur wrote on Instagram. He regretted his young naivety, which he now appreciates beauty in all forms while adding.
The video that bouncing backlash showed ‘Sardar 2’s son’, “I am better than Bipasha.” He can then be asked by co-stars, “Do you want to marry a girl who is masculine with muscles?” These statements made extensive criticism on social media.
Basu responded to the situation with a post advocating power and empowerment. Their message reads, “Strong women pick up each other …. Get those muscles, beautiful women … We must be strong … muscles help you achieve good physical and mental health forever!”
