Original Spider-Man Trillji, directed by Sam Rimei and starring Toby Maguire, is swinging back into theaters in the fall. In collaboration with Sony Pictures, Fathom Entertainment has announced a limited screening of three films in select theaters in the US starting on 26 September 2025.
This re-relief will also include a dramatic screening of Spider-Man 2.1, an extended version of Spider-Man 2, which is in 4K. The cut in the long run includes new and expanded views that have not been seen in the original 2004 release.
Screening schedule for Spider-Man Trillji
The program closed on Thursday, 26 September with the original Spider -Man of 2002. Extended cuts, Spider-Man 2.1, Friday, on 27 September, will follow according to diversity. The trilogy ends with Spider-Man 3 on Saturday, 28 September. For those who missed the first run, an Enkore Weekend has also been planned, in which it is to be played again on October 3, 4 and 5.
The tickets will be available from 25 July on the website of Fathom events and the participating theaters.
Spider Man 2.1’s first dramatic release in 4K
The extended version of Spider-Man 2 called Spider-Man 2.1 has never been released in theaters before. The 4K version will offer fans to an enhanced scene and several additional scenes that expand the story of Peter Parker’s struggles.
“The success of Spider-Man in 2002 helped launch the modern era of superhero films in 2002,” Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Neut said in a statement. Till date, Toby takes Maguire’s Spider-Man which resonates in generations. “
He said, “In Fathom Entertainment, we celebrate Fandom, and I am glad that Spider Man 2.1 will make his dramatic start, a true gift for fans for a long time and an exciting discovery for new ones.”
The trilogy is part of Fathom’s ongoing ‘Fan Favorite’ series, which brings back classic films on the big screen. The earlier entries in the lineup consisted of Indiana Jones and the last crusade and clules. The upcoming titles in the series include Cuckoo’s Nest, The Sound of Music, Rocky IV, and a flav in the Sunset Bulleward.
This is not the first time Sony has released Spider -Man films again. In April 2024, Cinemark hosted a limited screening of full live-action Spider-Man Catalog, including Toby Maguire’s trilogy, two amazing spider-man films by Andrew Garfield and MCU entries from Tom Holland.
