The much-awaited thriller film Uljhan has released in theaters today i.e. on 2nd August 2024. The trailer of this film starring Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew has given a glimpse of the suspenseful plot of the film. A special screening was held last night, which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Janhvi’s stepbrother Arjun Kapoor. Arjun has now shared his review of the film, expressing pride in Janhvi and urging everyone to watch it.
Arjun Kapoor, who attended the screening of Ulj in Mumbai yesterday, wrote a long note on Instagram Stories praising the film. He said, “Ulj is an engaging spy drama with superb performances from every character in the film. It is an entertaining film that intertwines complex narratives brilliantly.”
Praising her sister Janhvi Kapoor for choosing complex roles, she said, “Proud of you @janhvikapoor for always choosing different content and complex characters.”

The film has received a U/A rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The duration of the film is 134 minutes, i.e. 2 hours 14 minutes. The film’s soundtrack includes songs like Shaukaan, Aaja Oye, Main Hoon Tera Ae Watan, Ilahi Mere Rubaru, Jao Jee Jao and Thoda Galat.
Uljhan is set in the high-stakes world of international diplomacy, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the role of Suhana Bhatia, who goes through various challenges and betrayals during an important assignment. Along with Janhvi, the cast includes Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang and Jitendra Joshi.
Presented by Junglee Pictures, the film is directed by National Award winning director Sudhanshu Saria. It is produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey.
