Two Pizzeria, Delhi -based Pizzeria, made it in the list of 100 Best Best in the world, making the capital firmly on the global pizza map. Da Susie in Delhi in Gurugram and Leo’s Pizzeria earned the spots in the iconic Best Pizza Awards list during a grand ceremony held in Milan on 25 June 2025.

The list, which is an annual feature, is cuisted by a panel of 512 Pakistani experts from 60 different countries. This year, Da Susie attracted attention by securing the 71st position, while Pizzeria of Leo captured 99th position. Such praise not only underlines the quality of the pizza introduced by these establishments, but also reflects the developed scenario of the Indian culinary view globally.

Dr. Susi

Napanna, born in 2021, is famous for her loyal approach to the da sui, creative flavor and cheese established by Susanna de Cosimo. The operation of two outlets in Gurugram, Da Susie has become a famous name among the pizza enthusiasts for its traditional touch and quality.

Chef Suzana moved to India in 2013 and ran an inbound tour operator with an associate for Italian travelers who wished to detect India. However, post-pandemic, Destiny kneaded another dough for her. He thought that for friends and family, only a passion for some regular cooking became a passion project, and Gurugram got this popular restaurant.

Leo’s pizzeria

Since its inception in 2016, Pizzeria of Leo, directed by Chef Amol Kumar, has created a reputation for its artisan pizza. It is known for its careful preparation methods, each pizza of Leo is designed with accuracy.

Chef Amol has been a pizza lover in his whole life since childhood. Holiday or not, Pizza was always his first choice – and this lifetime passion eventually gave birth to one of the most popular pizza places in Delhi. Step in bizarre restaurants, and you will find rowed walls with pictures of Chef Amol’s beloved pets. In fact, this place is named after his dog, Leo.

This is not the only time when these two Indian Pizzeria has gained global recognition.

Among the previous competitions, Da Susie was ranked sixth in 50 top Pizza Asia Pacific Awards 2025. Meanwhile, Leo’s Pizzeria also finished 41st in the same Asia Pacific list, which leads its position as a top dining destination.

Every year, the best pizza, a Europe-based outfit, reveals the list of 100 best pizzeria in the world. In 2025, the top five locations were secured by Italian Pizzerias – Masaneli, Paype, Pizerium, Bob Alchimia A Spike and Tigli.
