The OnePlus 13R is confirmed to launch in India on January 7 alongside the flagship phone OnePlus 13. The 13R is a toned-down version, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Although the company has not yet revealed many specifications and features, a recent leak shows the phone in two specific colors. The tipster shared images of the OnePlus 13R in black and white, showing off all its edges.

OnePlus 13R photos leaked

A tipster, @MysteryLupin, posted photos of the upcoming OnePlus 13R on X (formerly Twitter). The company has shared a glimpse of what the upcoming phones will look like while teasing the device, but this leak reveals more details about the OnePlus 13R.

Looking at the pictures, it seems that the phone has a boxy design. Its edges are rounded. But the rear panel is quite different from its predecessor OnePlus 12R. The 13R has a circular island on the rear panel, which houses a triple-camera system and a flashlight.

Information about the phone’s display has also been revealed in the leak. It seems that the display will have minimal bezels with a punch hole pattern.

As per the details revealed by OnePlus, the device has a slim design and features newly developed Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and back to provide better protection against screen scratches. It has an aluminum frame and a flat screen housed within an 8mm thin body.

The volume rocker and power button are conveniently placed on the right edge, while the iconic alert slider is located on the left.

While the black version has a matte finish, the white version can reflect a pearl-like color. Take a look at the images.

OnePlus 13R: Specs and features

Ahead of its official launch, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 13R will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is a notable upgrade from its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R, which featured a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. As is typical for the R series, OnePlus is using the latest flagship chips for this model. The device will also be equipped with a suite of AI features, including AI Notes, AI Cleanup, AI Imaging, and Intelligent Search, as well as a snapshot feature for its camera system.

Additionally, the OnePlus 13R will feature a larger 6,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the 5,500mAh battery found in the OnePlus 12R, promising extended usage time. It will also support SuperVOOC fast charging, with rumors suggesting 100W fast-charging capability. Like previous models, OnePlus is expected to include a charger in the retail box. The phone may also have a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
