Former actor Twinkle Khanna never explains words, when it comes to expressing his views on socio-political issues through satire. Khanna recently reacted to the removal of Pakistani actors from the Bollywood film poster. He also suggested to teach ‘a lesson to Pakistanis a lesson’ with a unique proposal.

Twinkle, in its weekly column Times Of India, Wrote, “Recently after re -release of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, I am listening to songs on repeating. SpotifyI realized that actor Mavra Hocken was edited with an album cover. Further excavations show that other Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have been erased equally from their online posters. “He further said,” as a good citizen does not want to be behind in doing his duty, I propose that we are all giving the songs of Abda Parveen and Farida Khanam by our very Dhinachak Puja. This will actually teach Pakistanis a lesson. ,

Earlier in May 2025, actor Harshvardhan Rane slammed the co-actor Mavra Hocain on social media to call Operation Vermau ‘Coward’. Rann had said that that Sanam would not be a part of Teri Kasam 2 if Hocken was a part of it.

The Pakistani actor reacted to his comment and called it a “PR strategy”. Reacting to his comment, Rain wrote a long note on his Instagram story, which said, “It seemed like an individual attack attempt. Fortunately, I have tolerance to ignore such efforts – but there is zero tolerance for any attack on the dignity of my country. It needs to be fully working. It is a complete work. I am within rights, who hate so much in their speech.

Apart from Hocken, Pakistani actors Favad Khan and Mahira Khan were also removed from the poster of Kapoor and Sons and Raees after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025.

Fawad’s film Abir Gulal has been banned in both India and Pakistan along with Vani Kapoor. The songs of the film have been removed from YouTube India.
