The author and former actor celebrated her birthday on December 29 by visiting the Muse du Parfum, which is famous for its deep dive into Moroccan fragrance traditions and aromatherapy. With husband Akshay Kumar and their kids, Aarav and Nitara, Twinkle explored the art of perfume instead of opting for a traditional birthday celebration.
Sharing glimpses of the day on Instagram, Twinkle posted a video collage that included cabinets full of glass bottles of fragrances and candid moments of her sampling the scents with family. The visuals captured a relaxing, intimate experience, with Twinkle and Akshay sitting together and enjoying the fragrant ambiance.

“Instead of blowing out the candles this year, my birthday celebration was filled with lots of joy,” Twinkle wrote. “The family took me to the Muse du Parfum. We found over 50 glass bottles with scents like vetiver, caramel, oud and amber.”
Adding a personal touch to the celebration, Twinkle revealed that each member of the family mixed a custom perfume from their favorite scents. She shared, “Then we each mixed a unique perfume from scents we loved. Mine was named Birthday Note. The scent brings memories, and it will accompany me to airports, old sweaters, and days when I want to remember my birthday in Marrakesh.”
