Rishabh Shetty’s Kannada film Kantara has crossed borders and is now all set to make its way to Hindi television. The popular TV show CID will soon air a special episode inspired by Kantara.

Inspired by the popularity of the film, CID has produced an episode that highlights the cultural impact of Kantara. This not only highlights the film’s remarkable success over time, but also shows how it has become a part of pop culture, putting the Indian tradition of the Kola festival in the spotlight.

Actor Rishabh Shetty’s much-awaited Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to release during Dussehra 2025. The makers of the National Award-winning film Kantara announced the news on 17 November.

Hombale Films, the official production house of Kantara, shared an interesting poster for the upcoming film and announced that Kantara: Chapter 1 will release in theaters on October 2, 2025. The film will be released on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra.
