Classic TV Sutcom WKRP star Loni Anderson, who played Jennifer Marlo, died on Sunday after a long illness in Los Angeles. She was only away from the age of 80 years.

His family admitted the news in a hearty statement: “We are sad to declare the loss of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother.” Anderson’s long -time campaigner, Cheryl J. Kagan said that the actress died in a local hospital.

According to the Associated Press, Anderson became a star in the late 1970s, playing the role of Jennifer Marlo, a smart, SAI receptionist for a flying Ohio radio station. Stored from 1978 to 1982, Wkrp in Cincinnati Comedy became a hit for a mixture of music and memorable characters.

Her character’s grace, intelligence and professionalism separated her as an actress on the show, including Gary Sandy, Howard Hasiman, Tim Reid and John Smithers. Anderson’s role earned him two Amy enrollment and three Golden Globe nodes.

Off-screen, Anderson became famous for his celebrity romance with actor Burt Reynolds. Both of them co-contemplated in the 1983 film Stroker Ika and married shortly after. The couple had a son, Quinton Reynolds, which Anderson has “decided the best that we had ever made in our entire relationship.”

She explained her marriage and personal issues in his 1995 memoir My Life in High Heels, an open book about her life as a woman in Hollywood.

A continuous career

Born on August 5, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Anderson made her acting debut with a small role in the 1966 film Nevada Smith. His career increased for decades for decades in the police woman, SWAT, Easy Street and various TV films. In 2023, she was painted in women of the 80s: one day Christmas.
