TV actor Manya Anand and Dhanush’s manager Shreyas have issued statements following viral claims of casting couch allegations involving their names and phone numbers. The controversy started after a video clip of Manya Anand’s interview surfaced online, sparking discussion and speculation.
Manya Anand, known for her role in Sun TV’s ‘Vanthai Pola’, responded on her Instagram page, saying that the video was taken out of context and that her intention was to raise awareness about the misuse of Dhanush’s name. He urged people to watch the entire interview before drawing conclusions.
Manya clarified that her comments were not targeted at Dhanush or his manager. She said that she had mentioned a fake person, whose authenticity she could not verify, who had contacted her about a Dhanush film.

The claim included someone posing as Shreyas allegedly asking for a ‘commitment’ from Manya in exchange for a role in Dhanush’s film and suggesting a meeting at Wunderbar Films.
Dhanush’s manager Shreyas has issued a statement denying any involvement in any such activity. He reiterated that any casting call or offer made in his name or in the name of Wunderbar Films Pvt Ltd is fake and baseless.

Shreyas also shared details of the phone numbers misused under his name and confirmed that a police complaint has been filed.
Manya further clarified that her interview footage was meant as an awareness message about fake identities, but it was misrepresented online. He expressed sadness that his name is being used to defame others and the video is being edited for views.
