Tusshar Kapoor made his OTT debut on June 10 night. In a recent interview, the actor talked about being underestimated many times and said, “I feel lucky to have got a chance to prove myself. I think I am one of the actors who has been underestimated the most number of times.” He further added, “People keep talking about the advantages of coming from a filmy family; I had some. But, I also faced many disadvantages and constant scrutiny. As a new student, I had to go through tests again and again.”
In an interview with India Today, Tusshar Kapoor discussed the opportunity to prove his abilities and the criticism he faced from the media. He said that he felt lucky to have received many opportunities to showcase his talent despite being often dismissed by critics. His first film, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, was a success, but doubts persisted. He said that subsequent failures further increased doubts about his abilities, until Kyaa Kool Hai Hum established his reputation in comedy.
Tusshar Kapoor also spoke about facing negativity from some members of the industry. He expressed disappointment at a section of the industry that is hell-bent on underestimating him. Despite this, he has moved past it and is ready to prove himself, finding inspiration in challenges. He revealed that he is grateful for his audience, who support him despite the ups and downs of his career.
Tusshar Kapoor also spoke about how his son has become a source of joy and stress relief in his life. He highlighted the positive aspects of his life, including his commitment to fitness and Buddhism, which help him stay grounded. He believes that staying focused and positive is key to finding inspiration in life’s ups and downs. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to discuss his career and his projects, he emphasized that these elements make his journey worthwhile.
