Trupti Dimri rose to fame starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Recently, she talked about her love life in an interview and said that she wants to feel the pure love that Shah Rukh Khan showered on his co-star in the 1993 rom-com, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na . Dimri also revealed that he is exactly like Uday Chopra’s character in Dhoom.
Trupti Dimri, while interacting with Ranveer Allahbadia on her YouTube channel, said, “I am a filmy romantic.” She further said that Shah Rukh Khan and Suchitra Krishnamurthy’s Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na is her favorite romantic film. Talking more about playing the King of Romance in the romantic comedy, the Kaala actress said that the innocence that is portrayed in the film is the real romance according to her.
He felt that the love that Shahrukh Khan’s character Sunil had for Anna was pure and innocent. Therefore, she would want this from her partner. “Nothing was calculated. You don’t always find someone who is right for you,” she said, adding that everyone has flaws and she too has some flaws. But the way a couple moves beyond that, compromises and understands each other, and focuses on the good, is important to him.
In the same interview, the Animal star said that she was always serious about her relationships and compared herself to Uday Chopra’s character Sub Inspector Ali Akbar Fateh Khan in the 2004 action thriller film Dhoom, who wanted a loving partner and children. “I am Uday Chopra of Dhoom. I can’t be like ‘let’s date and see.’ I think, ‘How will my parents feel if I meet them?’ (I’m Uday Chopra of Dhoom. For me it’s like, ‘How will he feel when I introduce him to my parents?’)
