Over the day, the X (East Twitter) show screenshots of post-app messages that inform users that the facility is being phased. According to the support page of the app, it is closing the call recording facility in Truecaller for iOS on September 30, 2025.
The Truecaller notification stated, “We are closing the call recording facility on Truecaller for iPhone.” The company began to pursue information to iPhone users before today. The popup message advises those who rely on the function to download their recording, as this feature will no longer work beyond a certain cutoff date.

This step comes at a time when Apple has introduced his call recording. However, if you have filed an important call, there is no need to worry. By September 30, 2025, you can download those recording on your iPhone.
How to save recording?
For those concerned about losing valuable recording, Truecaller iPhone offers two simple ways to save your call recording before removing the facility for users. The first option is to switch your default storage into iCloud so that future recording is automatically saved online. To do this, open the Truecaller app, go to the record tab, tap on the settings icon, and select storage preference.
Turn this setting into iCloud storage. If you do not see the iCloud option, you may need to enable it to enable it by opening your iPhone settings, tapping your name, selecting iCloud, then saved to the iCloud, and finally the Truecaller was turned on.
The second method is to manually protect personal recording. Open Truecaller, go to the record tab, and leave on the recording you want to keep. Tap the share or export icon (a square with the top arrow, or the “export” label button).
Then you can choose where to save it. You can either use Save Two Files to download the audio on your iPhone such as in downloads such as folders, or the file directly on other apps such as mail, message, Google Drive, Dropbox or ICloud drive. This process should be repeated for each recording for your desire to keep.
