Disney officially released Tron: The first trailer for Eresce, the third installment in the Tron Franchise. Set to hit theaters worldwide on October 10, 2025, as a science-fi sequel stars Jered Leto, a powerful program sent from the virtual grid to the real world, the first for the series. Jocheim Roning, Tron: Directed by Ares: Eresce expanded the universe of 1982 and the universe created in Tron: Ligi (2010).
The trailer indicates on a face between humanity and artificial intelligence, shows a smooth view from industrial light and magic (ILM) and a pulsed score from nine inch nails. In particular, the legendary manufacturer of the Jeff Brides grid returns as Kevin Flynn, who disappeared in Tron: Legacy.

Tron: The Ares trailer introduces a new chapter in the Tron World, where the action comes out of the digital space. Ares (starred by Oscar-Vigner Jreds Leto) appears to cross a red-light figure in reality. The film “A highly sophisticated program, Ares, is sent from the digital world to a dangerous mission from the real world, marking the first encounter with AI creatures of mankind,” in accordance with the official synopsis.
A standout line in the trailer comes from Ivan Peters’s character Julian Dilinger: “Talk so much about AI and Big Tech. The virtual world, what are they going to see? When will we reach there? They are coming here.”
New music and soundtrack of nine inch nails
Along with the trailer, nine -inch nails alive as a new single title as you need me. It marks the first music release of the band in five years and is now available through the intercope records. The song co-produced by Boys Nose, Tron: ARERES SANDTRACR, which is scheduled to release on September 19, 2025.
The Full Tron: Eresce Soundtrack Trent Radenore and Aticus Ross are composed by both Grammy and Oscar winners, known for their dark and atmospheric scores. The trailer makes it clear that music will be a large part of the film’s tone and energy.
Jeff Brides resumed his role as Kevin Flin, which was the original computer programmer, which was last seen trapped in the grid. Their return adds continuity to the long -running franchise. The artists also include Jodi Turner-Smith, Greta Lee, Gilian Anderson and Ivan Peters, bring fresh energy to Tron Universe.
