Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is one of the most awaited releases of the year. Even ahead of its premiere on March 19, the film has not yet revealed its plot, with only brief details of the characters and story being given to fans of the star. However, it seems that a new leak has reached its fans, because recently, Fars Film, a UAE-based distributor, updated the synopsis of the film on its website. This hints that the story of the project will see the lead actor transformed into a ruthless gangster who has no regard for others but only his own goals in mind. As previously reported, the film will be set in Goa around 1940.
Poisonous conspiracy leaked on UAE seller’s platform
Fars Film has revealed the following as the plot of Toxic on its website: “Set in Goa between the 1940s and early 1970s, Toxic is a brutal action-thriller saga that delves into the rot rotting beneath the heavens. In this coastal land of fading colonial shadows and rising crime syndicates, one man builds his empire through blood, fear and betrayal.”
Hinting at what kind of role transformation Yash will undergo for the power-hungry setting in the film, it is added how he will rely on no one but himself to get the job done, “Power is not given – it is seized, and it always demands repayment. As smuggling routes become battlefields and loyalties turn into doubts, paranoia turns into a means of survival. In the end, his choices have consequences. The only force more powerful than him is the abyss within him.”
The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is called Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, starring Yash in the lead role, alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Produced by Venkat K Narayan and Yash, the film is in progress under the KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations banners.
Toxic is all set to release in theaters on March 19, 2026, in the much-awaited clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.
