Tovino Thomas praises Unni Mukundan’s Marco: Violence felt believable
Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas praised Unni Mukundan’s film Marco for its believable depiction of violence and credited the film’s strong performances and technical quality.

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas, who is receiving praise for Identity, praised Unni Mukundan’s Marco. He said the actors’ performances made ‘the violence believable’. After releasing in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, the revenge thriller is doing well in theatres.
As reported The Times of IndiaTovino Thomas said at a promotional event, “Marco is a good film. Because of the performances and because it’s a technically good film, the violence felt believable. I don’t think the film was a hit just because of the violence.” ,
Tovino praised Marco’s producers for bringing its world vividly to life, saying, “If any emotion is effectively conveyed to the audience, the film will surely be a success.”

In his review for India Today Digital, Marcogave the film a three out of five star rating. Part of the review reads: “The story, on paper, is straightforward and is about a hero who seeks vengeance. It’s the action that comes to the fore in Marco. In the first half of Marco, violence is mixed with story. However, in the second half, the action gets extreme, and you are forced to watch some of the most terrifying scenes you will ever see. Marco is the story of Victor, a blind man who witnesses the murder of his friend Wasim. He identifies the killer by identifying the smell and the vehicle. After this, a cat and mouse chase occurs.
