In 2025, the Bollywood box office has been a mixed bag, with some films entering a record-breaking number, while others are struggling. Housefull 5, led by Akshay Kumar, has now claimed third place. The comic caper is open on the net of Rs 22 crore. Initial advance booking suggested that it could struggle to cross Rs 20 crore, but strong spot booking easily pushed it to the previous mark. Weekend advance booking is looking strong and now it should be seen how the film lives during the weekend.
RAID 2 starring Ajay Devgan has come in fourth place. It was released on 1 May, the crime thriller opened on a net of Rs 19 crore. The sequel to 2018 benefited from the May Day holiday on the initial day. However, it was well held during the next few weeks to be a hit hit.
Exiting the top five is the Sky Force, with an initial number of Rs 13.75 crore.
