Tere Ishq Mein registered a strong opening at the box office. The film opened with an estimated Rs. 14.50 crore to Rs. With earnings of Rs 15.50 crore, it became the eighth biggest opener of 2025 at the Hindi box office.
Dhanush and Kriti Sanon have created a strong base. All that is needed is a good box-office trend to get a clean hit verdict. The musical romantic drama directed by Aanand L Rai recorded a better opening than some A-list starrs like Sky Force, Jolly LLB 3, Sitare Zameen Par, De De Pyaar De 2 and others.
The top spot among the biggest Hindi openers of 2025 has been taken by Vicky Kaushal’s historical war drama, Chhaava. The film directed by Laxman Utekar opened with Rs. 29.50 crore nett, which has every possibility of going unbeaten this year. The second position goes to Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2, which opened with Rs. 28 crore nett. Salman Khan’s action drama ‘Sikander’ took the third position with an opening of Rs 3 crore. 24.75 crores. The fourth and fifth positions go to Thamma and Housefull 5 respectively, while Saiyara secured the sixth position, followed by Raid 2 and so on.
Sadly, no film could cross the Rs crore mark. This year it grossed Rs 30 crore, while six films debuted with Rs. 20 crore plus debut. Now all eyes are on Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar and Kartik Aryan’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
