"Too soon" To discuss Pope’s return home, Vatican says: Report

A Vatican source said on Monday that Pope Francis is showing minor signs of improvement in the hospital with pneumonia, but it is very early to discuss returning home.

The 88 -year -old leader of the world’s Catholic was admitted to Jameli Hospital in Rome on 14 February and faced a series of breathing, the last seven days ago.

Since then, doctors have described their clinical position as “stable” and in the weekend stated that “minor improvements … in a complex overall picture”.

But “This is soon to talk about his return to Santa Marta”, a Watican source said on Monday, a gesture of the guest house where the Pope lives.

According to the Vatican, Francis spent a quiet night in his suite on Jamelli’s 10th floor and spending days in physical and respiratory medicine during the day.

According to last morning, he also switched to the oxygen mask, which he uses for an entrance-a plastic tube in the nostril-tuck-tuck-which distributes the high-function oxygen, said that.

The leader of about 1.4 billion Catholics of the world is working and following the news where possible – including deadly floods that have killed Argentina’s own motherland.

Vatican, while referring to the port city on Monday, said that Francis is close to the people of Blanca region “in view and prayer, where 16 people have been killed.

‘Gesture of closeness’

Pope has faced a series of health issues, from colon surgery in 2021 to a hernia operation in 2021 in recent years, but it is the longest and most serious migration in his sinner’s hospital.

During the last stay, he has appeared in the Jamelli Balcon for his weekly Sunday Angelus prayer.

But on Sunday, for the fourth time, he missed the traditional angelus prayer in the person.

Instead he released a written one, in which he thanked his doctors for his care during more than three weeks.

“I also experience the tenderness of service and tenderness of care, especially from doctors and healthcare workers, whom I thank under my heart,” he said.

Francis has not been seen personally since he was admitted, although he released a breathless audio message on Thursday, thanking people for their prayers.

Hearing from the Pope, although it looked weak, some loyal people were indicated by hope. Others said that it brought home how long his recovery could take.

The Vatican has released the health of Francis near the daily medical bulletin, which has experienced incremental corrections marked by topical failures.

Another medical bulletin is expected for Monday afternoon.

Although there is no fever in the pope, his doctors want to see more positive results in the days ahead before diagnosing a disease.

Catholic continues to gather in Jamelli to pray for Francis or leave flowers, candles and cards.

On Sunday, some 180 people of Diocese near Milan – most of them were sitting in front of the hospital to pray together.

32 -year -old priest Marco Ferrari told AFP, “We said go to the Pope, in Jamelli, and pray for him. He will not listen to us, he won’t see us, we will not see him, but it is a sign of closeness.”
